Authentication Flicker Fix

🔄 This work slipped from v1.1.7 so we're continuing to polish the sign-in experience for the 1.1.8 train.

Resolve UI flickering issues observed during the authentication process.

Goals

• Eliminate flicker on sign-in/sign-out state transitions
• Smoothen screen handoff between splash, auth, and app shells
• Improve perceived performance and stability during login
