Highlights​

External QR Code Scanning Fix​

  • What changed: Resolved the regression that prevented iOS and Android system scanners from redeeming Backyard Hunt links.
  • Why it matters: Families can once again scan hunt clues with the built-in camera or third-party QR apps and jump straight into the correct clue.
  • Behind the scenes: Hardened deep-link parsing and added telemetry to catch similar issues earlier.

General Bug Fixes & Polish​

  • Tightened error handling around hunt progression and sync edge cases.
  • Smoothed UI transitions in clue details and scoreboard screens.
  • Cleared out several crash reports flagged by our monitoring tools.

Looking Ahead​

We're now focused on the v1.1.8 cycle, bringing richer parental tools, photo sharing, and the deferred authentication flicker fix.
