Backyard Hunt now offers early access web support to help creators build hunts on desktop.

Purpose​

  • Provide a keyboard-and-mouse workflow for writing hunts and clues
  • Respond to user requests for desktop-based creation

Status​

  • Early access in v1.1.6
  • The entire app runs on web, but the experience is still optimized for mobile

What works​

  • Create, edit, and manage hunts and clues using desktop keyboard and mouse
  • Core gameplay and navigation

Notes​

  • Some screens are mobile-first and may not feel fully desktop-native yet
  • We will continue iterating on desktop layout and interactions
