Custom Hints

The Custom Hints feature allows users to create and manage their own location hints for treasure hunts, providing complete control over where clues are hidden in their personal hunt experiences.

How to Use Custom Hints​

Creating a New Custom Location​

  1. Navigate to Settings: Go to the Settings tab and select "Locations/Hints"
  2. Add Location: Tap the floating "+" button or the add icon in the section header
  3. Enter Details:
    • Provide a descriptive name for your location
    • Use the rich text editor to create detailed hint descriptions
  4. Save: Your custom location is immediately available for use in hunts

Managing Existing Locations​

  • Edit Custom Locations: Tap the edit icon next to any of your custom locations to modify them
  • Location Selection: Check/uncheck locations to include them in your available hunt locations
  • Global + Custom: Select from both pre-made global locations and your custom creations

Custom hints support rich text formatting, allowing you to create engaging and detailed location descriptions that guide players effectively to clue locations.
